De minimix op deze avond was nieuw! Het was een mash-up: Will.I.Am vs. Cerrone – Is This Supernature?
Allereerst is de track Is This Love van Will.I.Am gebruikt, waarvan deze keer alleen de vocalen niet te horen zijn. Die vocalen komen uit een nummer, dat al zo ongeveer 35 jaar oud is: de disco-klassieker-stamper Supernature van Cerrone! Van dit nummer zijn overigens nog wel meer elementen dan alleen de vocalen te beluisteren, zoals synth-lijnen.

Volgens Ben Liebrand is het frappant om te horen hoe deze combinatie van oud en nieuw zo mooi in elkaar valt.

Inmiddels is deze two-tracker al op cd verschenen bij DMC: DMC COMMERCIAL COLLECTION 371, CD2, track 7.

Het eerste uur van In The Mix was nieuw. Evenals vorige week was ook deze ITM gewijd aan de ’90’s. Te horen waren de tracks 2-35 van CD1 en 1-27 van CD2 van Grandmix 90′ Edition 2.
